What We Collect
Very little. Standard analytics pageviews — which page loaded, the referring site if there was one, the browser and rough device type, and an approximate region derived from the IP address. If you write in through a contact form or email, we keep whatever you sent along with the address you sent it from. That's the full picture.
Cookies and Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to count traffic and see which guides readers actually finish. That sets a couple of standard cookies in your browser. If you'd rather opt out, your browser's privacy settings, an ad-blocker, or a do-not-track extension will all stop the script from loading — nothing on the site breaks when it's blocked.
Affiliate Links
When you click a link to a reviewed tool, it may pass through an affiliate network on its way to the merchant. The merchant sees the referral and, if you purchase, attributes the sale to us. We see anonymized counts — clicks, conversions, commission totals — never your name, email, or what you bought.
How We Use the Information
Pageview data helps us see which reviews are landing and where readers get stuck. Contact-form messages get read and replied to. We do not sell, rent, or trade any of it. We don't build profiles, run retargeting, or hand data to third parties beyond the analytics provider listed above.
Your Rights and Contact
You can ask what we have on file, request deletion, or correct anything that's wrong. Send a note to [email protected] and we'll respond within roughly two weeks — usually sooner. This policy was last updated May 19, 2026.
